springtime, bike races, & jellybeans

i spent the weekend before this past one at depauw in the thriving metropolis of greencastle, indiana, with my favorite matthew james keinsley. we watched some people ride some bikes in a circle (which his fraternity won for the 16th out of 18 years, no big deal), had a subway picnic in the park, enjoyed the beautiful spring weather, photographed springtime, drove windy country roads & took photos (right at the spot where he asked me to be his girlfriend, not that that isn’t the cutest thing EVER or anything) and ate way too many starburst jellybeans. a lovely weekend. i just love weekends.

a winter walk

i am so tired of the snow piled on ice piled on sleet and the slush everywhere and having cold toes and wet hems and frozen fingers. so my lovely friend katelin and i decided to venture out with our warm boots, mittens, and cameras and embrace this lovely season we call winter. and it was good. after this, some papa john’s, successful shopping, chai, cherry pepsi fountain drink, and dairy queen, on top of clean clothes AND clean sheets, i can officially say my winter blues are cured. for now.
